Directions :

Before beginning, leave either the front or back door slightly ajar to allow the spirit to escape. Only open one door…

1. Light one end of the sage with a match. Blow out the flame, the sage will produce white smoke. Enter the affected room or rooms with the sage, make circular motions with the sage in hand, thoroughly spreading the smoke throughout the area. Make sure to leave no room for the spirit to reside. Continue throughout the house.
2. Once the sage has been spread throughout the home, retrieve the spirit coin and say aloud,
”Have the spirits been cleansed from this house?”, toss the coin into the air allowing it to land on the ground. If the coin says “no”, move to each room asking if the spirit has been removed in that room. If “no”, re-sage the room, ask again, and flip the coin. Follow these steps until
all areas have been cleared.
3. With the home now cleansed of spirits, place one piece of salt rock on the floor on each side of door frame, for both the front and back door.
